Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Telecommute Appeals Nurse Consultant.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Reviewing and resolving clinical documentation, clinical complaints and appeals
- Reviewing documentation and interpreting data obtained from clinical records
- Applying appropriate clinical criteria and policies
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Travel 0 - 10% and training period in the office may be required
- RN with unrestricted active license
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of clinical experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong critical thinking skills
