A health insurance company has an open position for a Telecommute Appeals Pharmacist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluating prescriptions and patient histories
• Interpretting physicians' prescriptions and clinical documentation
• Consulting with customers, patients and/or physicians regarding use of medications, etc

Qualifications Include:

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license
• 3+ years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist
• Experience using online clinical references and accessing professional internet sites
• Experience working with onscreen document images
• Intermediate computer proficiency with MS Office
• 8-5p CST work schedule and willing to work some weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
