Job Summary
A hospital network is in need of a Telecommute Assistant Coding Director in Orange Park.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting in the day- to-day functions of the Coding Operations areas
- Providing direct managerial oversight to assigned Management team staff
- Ensuring complete, accurate, timely and consistent coding
Position Requirements Include:
- Undergraduate degree
- 3+ years health care management/leadership experience required
- 7+ years recent inpatient/outpatient hospital coding experience
- RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS certifications
- Extensive regulatory coding (ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, ICD-9-CM, CPT-4, HCPCS,MS-DRGs) and associated reimbursement knowledge
