Job Summary
An information technology company is seeking a Telecommute Assistant Information Technology General Counsel.
Must be able to:
- Provide management oversight of the contracts department
- Provide legal advice and services primarily to management on legal problems of a difficult and complex nature
- Provide training and orientation for junior legal staff
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to one or more State Bars
- 12-16 years of legal practice, including 5 or more years handling a broad range of commercial transactions
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in audit and risk management
- Minimum of 3 years of legal practice focused on healthcare compliance and healthcare industry regulation
