Telecommute Assistant Information Technology General Counsel

Job Summary

An information technology company is seeking a Telecommute Assistant Information Technology General Counsel.

Must be able to:

• Provide management oversight of the contracts department
• Provide legal advice and services primarily to management on legal problems of a difficult and complex nature
• Provide training and orientation for junior legal staff

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• JD from an accredited law school and admission to one or more State Bars
• 12-16 years of legal practice, including 5 or more years handling a broad range of commercial transactions
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience in audit and risk management
• Minimum of 3 years of legal practice focused on healthcare compliance and healthcare industry regulation
