Job Summary

An insurance holding company has an open position for a Telecommute Associate Actuary.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Developing new tools and maintenance of existing tools
• Gaining in-depth understanding of existing tools that are being used to support in-force illustrations
• Providing guidance on any changing industry regulations

Qualifications Include:

• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
• BA /BS Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics and/or related major
• 3-5 years Actuarial experience working with life insurance products, preferably universal life
• Demonstrated skill in APL programming and MS Excel programming
• Self-driven, motivated and demonstrates ownership in tasks
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
