Job Summary

A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Associate DevOps Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Building and managing monitoring for production services and processes
  • Managing environments for test, release candidate, production
  • Proactively managing backups and disaster recovery processes

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Must be able to travel for team-offsites once per quarter and to attend vendor meetings directly related to the position
  • 1+ years of experience working with Linux/Unix based production servers
  • Experience with VirtualBox/VMware or other desktop virtualization software
  • Ability to support Windows and Mac development environments
  • Knowledge of Linux services including Apache, Redis, MySQL
  • Working knowledge with at least one scripting language IN ADDITION to Bash (Python/Perl/PHP/Ruby)
