Job Summary
A financial services company has a current position open for a Telecommute Associate Employment Counsel.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Advising HR professionals and internal business partners regarding employment-related matters
- Assisting in the creation and updating of policies, procedures, and training to ensure regulatory compliance
- Providing legal guidance to the Plan Administrative Committee and the Plan Investment Committee
Position Requirements Include:
- Have earned a Juris Doctor (or equivalent degree) from an accredited law school
- Be a current and active member in good standing of a U.S. state and/or federal Bar Association
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a dedicated employment law practice
- Have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex issues simultaneously
- Have experience drafting employment policies and procedures
- Have experience drafting and interpreting retirement and welfare plan documents
