Job Summary
A healthcare company is filling a position for a Telecommute Associate Radiation Oncology Medical Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Reviewing appeals for denied services
- Clarifying clinical information and to explaining review outcome decisions
- Documenting all actions related to clinical review sessions
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must be able to assist with staff educational training and in-service programs
- M.D. or D.O. with a current, active, U.S. state medical license and board certified in a clinical specialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
- Familiarity with automated processes and computer applications and systems
- Recent practice experience in direct patient care (within the past 18 months)
