Job Summary
A managed healthcare and insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Associate Subrogation General Counsel.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the subrogation business by providing legal, risk management, and case resolution advice
- Serving as an initial point of legal contact for privacy, contracting, and compliance issues for the subrogation business
- Negotiating high dollar, complex or sensitive reimbursement cases
Qualifications for this position include:
- Undergraduate degree
- Juris Doctorate degree and license to practice in any U.S. jurisdiction
- 5+ years of litigation experience, including preferably some trial work, prosecuting or defending personal injury matters
- Ability to evaluate and determine appropriate legal courses of action to meet business needs
