Job Summary

A healthcare industry payment processing products developer has an open position for a Telecommute Attorney.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Negotiate, write and execute agreements and contracts on behalf of the company
  • Provide counsel regarding company healthcare and non-healthcare legal and regulatory issues
  • Work with other departments within the company to minimize legal risk exposure

Position Requirements Include:

  • Law School Degree (JD) and active bar membership
  • 3-5 years of experience gained in a large law firm and/or in-house setting
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations at the state and federal level
  • Experience with contract review, drafting, and negotiations
  • Strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues
  • Familiarity with legal issues related to HIPAA and federal healthcare programs
