Job Summary

A computer software company is in need of a Telecommute AWS Cloud Operations Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Run and monitor the infrastructure 24 by 7 year-round meeting defined SLAs
  • Configure the infrastructure to generate relevant metrics for uptime monitoring
  • Define, implement and document operational processes and procedures

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with monitoring systems like Nagios, Sumologic, Pagerduty, etc
  • Experience with the modern DevOps stack
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling infrastructure on the AWS IaaS stack
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineering role
