Job Summary

A website development company is filling a position for a Telecommute Back End Developer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting Frontend engineers with the server-side web application logic and data while following WDS Code Standards
  • Optimizing web applications and assets for maximum speed, scalability, and maintainability
  • Meeting documented deadlines and deliverables in accordance to project milestones

Qualifications Include:

  • 2+ years professional experience as a Backend Engineer
  • Strong understanding of WordPress theme and plugin structure
  • Strong understanding of writing performant data queries
  • Strong understanding of Git (GitHub) version control and branching strategies
  • Experience with MySQ
  • All other technical requirements necessary for this position
