Job Summary

An internet site development company has a current position open for a Telecommute Backend Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Assist Frontend engineers with the server-side web application data
  • Meet documented deadlines and complete tasks in accordance to project milestones
  • Work directly with Senior or Lead Engineers on feature validation and code reviews

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Annual Company Retreat
  • 2+ years professional experience as a Backend Engineer
  • A strong grasp of WordPress plugin and theme structure
  • Knowledgeable in writing performant data queries
  • Strong understanding of Git version control and branching strategies
  • Experience JavaScript, React, and jQuery
