Job Summary
An information technology company is filling a position for a Telecommute Backend Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing, improving and simplifying the code that makes up our API and other applications
- Working with your peers to build new features and extend existing ones
- Reviewing code from the rest of the team
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience with Ruby and Javascript
- Experience writing automated tests (Jest and RSpec)
- Knowledge in HTTP, cookies, caching, AJAX, cross-domain sharing, etc
- Knowledge in REST
- Previous work scaling enterprise software and infrastructure
- English-native or English proficiency is mandatory
