Job Summary

A banking and asset management company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Bank Regulatory Counsel.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Reporting to the lead Senior Counsel covering U.S. bank regulatory matters and government affairs
  • Providing regulatory advice for new initiatives, product development, corporate strategic investment
  • Advising and preparing correspondence, notices, or responses in connection with federal and state supervisory activities

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • J.D. from a top tier school and excellent academic credentials
  • 2 to 6+ years of experience (either in-house, law firm or federal banking regulator)
  • Able to monitor, analyze and operationalize applicable bank regulatory rule making
  • Active membership in good standing in at least one state bar, preferably California or New York
  • Able to take ownership on matters assigned
