Job Summary
A staffing firm needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Banner Systems Analyst in Saint Louis.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of live and historical data interfaces from Banner
- Responsible for testing and validating all development work
- Documenting the resolution steps and prepare SOP documents as part of issue resolution or enhancements / customizations
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5 years (minimum) hands-on programming/analysis experience in a Banner/Ellucian Higher Education environment
- Strong Oracle Programming skills (SQL, PL/SQL)
- Have hands on experience in working with Automic (formerly UC4/Appworx), Cognos reporting tools, Banner Workflow/Events
- Possesses knowledge of general web application development using .Net, Java or related technologies
- Possesses expert knowledge in the Banner architecture both at the application and database level, using Ellucian's Banner ERP v8
- Knowledge and skill in Ellucian Banner, Unix and Oracle database architecture, and SQL and Oracle applications development tools
