Job Summary
A global healthcare company is in need of a Telecommute Behavioral Care Advocate.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Utilizing advanced clinical skills to engage and motivate Members and their families via a recovery, health and wellness, family – holistic and member centric oriented approach
- Providing current care alerts, information on medication adherence, updates on referral results and other priority issues to community providers, as indicated
- Accepting referrals via designated processes, collaborate in evaluating available services, and coordinate necessary psychiatric and community referrals, as needed
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted, Independent Licensed Master's degree – level clinician in Psychology, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling OR Licensed Ph.D., OR an RN with experience in behavioral health
- Medical / Behavioral setting experience (i.e. hospital, managed care organization, or joint medical / behavioral outpatient practice)
- Demonstrate initiative in achieving individual, team, and organizational goals and objectives
- Bilingual (Fluent in English and Spanish)
