Job Summary
A managed healthcare and insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Behavioral Health Assess and Triage Care Advocate.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assist in determining appropriate levels of care
- Obtain information from members on outpatient requests for treatment
- Focus on psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment for members
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Licenses must be independent, active, and unrestricted in state of residence
- Licensed Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling, or Licensed Ph.D
- 3+ years of experience in a related mental health environment
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMs)
- Crisis management, substance abuse and mental health background
- Ability to talk on phone and navigate through computer screens simultaneously
