Job Summary
An employee benefits consulting firm is filling a position for a Telecommute Benefits Auditing Consultant.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Scheduling audits and preparing audit timelines
- Conducting all audits, usually onsite at Carrier claim operations location
- Act as a resource and subject matter expert regarding claims handling and payment
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel to client sites 20% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role at comparable level
- Expertise in Group Disability, Leave of Absence, ADA, Life and AD&D claims management
- Ability to determine the correct claim sample size based on the requirements and goals of each audit
- Excellent written communication skills to prepare the final report after each audit
