Job Summary

A business services provider is in need of a Telecommute Big Data Architect.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Architecting and designing macro level data systems
  • Analyzing, monitoring, and improving performance in Hadoop, Spark, and Elastic systems
  • Leading change and high performing technology teams

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6 years experience advanced database systems
  • 3 years experience with the physical and logical architecture of data systems
  • 3 years experience with non-relational data technologies
  • Experience with programming languages including Python and BASH shell scripting
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as DBeaver, Jupyter, etc
