A data technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Big Data Consulting Solutions Architect.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing and developing innovative Hadoop solutions
- Determining the project road map
- Integrating data from a variety of data sources
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Participating in executive steering meetings
- 5+ years previous experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer or Data Analytics
- Expertise in core Hadoop technologies
- Ability to write, debug, and optimize distributed SQL queries
- Strong working knowledge of SQL
- Expert programming experience in Java, Scala, or other statically typed programming language
