A technology staffing firm has a current position open for a Telecommute Big Data Engineer in Chicago.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Working hands on with the technical stack
  • Being hands in production leveraging the AWS Ecosystem
  • Working on the most cutting edge technology on the market

Qualifications Include:

  • 2 to 3 days working from home
  • Experience working hands on with Spark on a daily basis
  • Experience working hands on within the Hadoop Ecosystem
  • Expertise with Hive
  • Expertise with Python/Scala OR Java, but ideally Scala
  • Expertise with both Relation and Non-Relational Databases
