Job Summary
An IT consultancy has an open position for a Telecommute Big Data Solution Architect.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing technical leadership in the Big Data space
- Evaluating and recommending Big Data technology stack
- Driving significant technology initiatives end to end
Position Requirements Include:
- 2-3 years of experience supporting sales, in a client-facing presales for Big Data
- 15+ years of demonstrable experience designing technological solutions to complex data problems
- Implementation of at least 2 end to end Enterprise Big Data programs
- Working on any of the following platforms – MapR, Cloudera or Horton Works
- Expert-level proficiency in Java - stack and base aspects
- Experience with at least one - Hive, Sqoop, Avro, Flume, Oozie, Zookeeper
