Job Summary
A healthcare and retail pharmacy company has a current position open for a Telecommute Big Data Systems Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Help deliver, support and maintain the company's Big Data Platform
- Help design and develop a large, scaled-out, real-time, high performing, multi-tenant Hadoop Infrastructure
- Design and implement platform that will leverage data effectively for internal and external data ingestion, stream processing, advanced analysis and applications
Position Requirements Include:
- 3 years of experience in a 24×7 high-availability production environment
- 3 years of experience with administration of Hadoop (HDFS, YARN, Spark, Hive, HBase, Solr, Ranger)
- 3 years of experience building and managing distributed systems
- 1 year of experience working with Cloud technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience
