Job Summary

A nonprofit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Bilingual Central Asia Researcher.

Must be able to:

• Review news, international organisation, NGO and security reports
• Code events to provide holistic coverage of current political violence
• Ensure quality, consistency and reliability of the data produced

Qualifications Include:

• Professional/semi-professional reading skills in at least one of the following: Kyrgyz, Uzbek, Turkmen, Tajik
• Professional reading skills in Russian
• Professional communication skills in English
• Experience conducting desk-based research
• Experience working to deadlines with limited supervision
• Familiarity with Excel
