A translation services company has an open position for a Telecommute Freelance Bilingual English and German Translator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing translation services between German and English
- Performing other duties as needed
Qualifications for this position include:
- Advanced proficiency in the source language
- Advanced comprehension of the grammar, syntax, and nuances of the language
- Ability to understand contextual idioms and metaphors
- Understand formatting, styling, punctuation, spelling, and other elements of presentation
- Native/bilingual proficiency in German
- Bachelor’s in Translation, Language/Area Studies, OR 2+ years of experience as translator
