Job Summary

A non-profit organization is seeking a Telecommute Bilingual English and Spanish Consulting Project Coordinator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Supervising, monitoring and editing the investigations of journalists participating in program activities
  • Fostering journalists’ development of proposals and provide detailed guidance on next steps
  • Providing timely and relevant feedback on story ideas

Position Requirements Include:

  • Ability to travel throughout the U.S. and the Americas
  • Fluency in Spanish is required; applications without this requirement will not be considered
  • Bachelor’s degree; or the equivalent of 3-5 years of work experience as a journalist or editor
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Word and MS Excel)
  • Familiarity with digital data-driven tools for news reporting and visualization
