Job Summary
A non-profit organization is seeking a Telecommute Bilingual English and Spanish Consulting Project Coordinator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Supervising, monitoring and editing the investigations of journalists participating in program activities
- Fostering journalists’ development of proposals and provide detailed guidance on next steps
- Providing timely and relevant feedback on story ideas
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel throughout the U.S. and the Americas
- Fluency in Spanish is required; applications without this requirement will not be considered
- Bachelor’s degree; or the equivalent of 3-5 years of work experience as a journalist or editor
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Word and MS Excel)
- Familiarity with digital data-driven tools for news reporting and visualization
