Job Summary
A nonprofit organization has an open position for a Telecommute Bilingual Farsi Digital Investigator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Identify and expose cases of disinformation and online harassment using open source data and research
- Produce case reports
- Submit reports to a company platform set up to investigate disinformation
Position Requirements Include:
- Familiarity with the concepts of disinformation, digital literacy, and online harassment
- Demonstrated skills in research and analysis
- Native fluency in Farsi
- Strong understanding of the Farsi media landscape, including traditional media and social media
- Familiarity with topics relating to human rights, democracy, and technology, with a focus on Iran
- Strong understanding of history, culture, politics and regional dynamics of the MENA region
