Job Summary
A translation services provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Bilingual German Application Translator.
Must be able to:
- Understand contextual idioms and metaphors
- Understand formatting, styling, punctuation, spelling, and other elements of professional presentation
- Differentiate between the settings of use of the language
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Translation, Language/Area Studies, OR 2+ years of experience working as translator
- Native/bilingual proficiency in German
- Proficiency with a word processing and document-editing programs
- Ability to work quickly, on tight deadlines
- Remain in constant communication with a project manager based remotely
- Certifications/specializations preferred but not required
