Job Summary

A translation company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Bilingual Punjabi Video Interpreter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide effective video remote interpreting service for consumers
• Participate in ongoing quality assurance and call monitoring programs
• Exhibit professional behavior at all times including regular attendance, punctuality and preparedness for shifts

Required Skills:

• Must have at least 2 to 5 years of community/medical interpreting experience
• Certifications such as those endorsed by NCHI and NBCMI
• Credentialed in medical interpreting (ie: Bridging the Gap, MiTio, Cross-Cultural training, 40 hour accredited medical courses).
• Extensive knowledge of code of ethics and standards of practice (IMIA, NBCMI, and NCIHC)
• Demonstrate the ability to work as a team even in a video remote interpreting environment
