Job Summary
A medical call center is seeking a Telecommute Bilingual Spanish and English Patient Navigator in Lacomb.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Efficiently scheduling radiology and diagnostic procedures
- Focuing solely on working with patients to obtain complete and accurate information
- Scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and making referrals in addition to other job related duties
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in medical-oriented scheduling environment
- Bilingual in any of the following languages: Spanish
- Excellent communication skills, customer service skills and phone etiquette, able to communicate effectively on the telephone
- Experience with basic insurance guidelines
- Working knowledge of the following systems: Cerner and/or PHS
