Job Summary

A medical call center is seeking a Telecommute Bilingual Spanish and English Patient Navigator in Lacomb.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Efficiently scheduling radiology and diagnostic procedures
  • Focuing solely on working with patients to obtain complete and accurate information
  • Scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and making referrals in addition to other job related duties

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Minimum 2 years recent experience in medical-oriented scheduling environment
  • Bilingual in any of the following languages: Spanish
  • Excellent communication skills, customer service skills and phone etiquette, able to communicate effectively on the telephone
  • Experience with basic insurance guidelines
  • Working knowledge of the following systems: Cerner and/or PHS
