An IT company has an open position for a Telecommute Bilingual Spanish Linguist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Implementing annotation conventions and guidelines with accuracy and consistency
- Contributing to the improvement of tools and processes
- Annotating language data with linguistic information
Qualifications for this position include:
- Native speaker of US English as well as US or Latin American Spanish
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Facility with computers and software applications
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Language Technologies, or related field
- Interest in practical as well as theoretical linguistics, especially syntax, semantics, and pragmatics
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements, priorities, and revisions
