Job Summary
A business services company is seeking a Telecommute Bilingual Spanish Medical Assistant in Miami.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing care coordination services for patients eligible for Medicare's Chronic Care Management (CCM)
- Providing culturally and linguistically sensitive care coordination services
- Communicating any concerns to the provider and care team as appropriate
Position Requirements Include:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (MA)
- Demonstrated understanding of CCM services
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, advocacy, communication, education and counseling
- Ability to build rapport and explain medical terminology in patient-friendly language
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, patient registries, web-based tools and using Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
