Job Summary
A company providing cloud services is seeking a Telecommute Billing Team Senior Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Continuously evaluate systems and technology to build and maintain a world-class billing platform
- Develop, assess, monitor, and roll out plans to minimize operational risks
- Drive development with technologies such as Go, Rails, Docker, Sentry, Prometheus, and CI/CD pipelines
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Trips to the office at least once per year to meet with the team
- Significant domain experience with subscription billing systems and/or expertise in SaaS billing cycles
- A significant background creating software that consumes or generates large amounts of data
- Expert level understanding in at least one of the following languages: Go, Ruby, Python or Java
- Fluent Linux user with an expert understanding of Linux operating systems
- Experience with Docker/container technologies and/or CI/CD pipelines like Go CD
