Job Summary
Cloud computing company is seeking a Telecommute Billing Team Senior Engineer II.
Must be able to:
- Continuously evaluate systems and technology to build and maintain a world-class billing platform
- Drivie the adoption of best practices as we build a scalable Billing platform for the long-term
- Lead ongoing reviews of solutions and architecture to ensure solutions are aligned with product and customer requirements
Qualifications for this position include:
- Quality in-person time with the team at least once a year
- Significant domain experience with subscription billing systems and/or expertise in SaaS billing cycles
- A significant background creating software that consumes or generates large amounts of data, demonstrating a high level of reliability and performance
- Expert level understanding in at least one of the following languages: Go, Ruby, Python or Java
- A healthy respect for tests, and their relationship with distributed architectures and continuous integration
- A fluent Linux user with an expert understanding of Linux operating systems
