Job Summary

A cloud computing company has a current position open for a Telecommute Bioinformatics Specialist Solutions Architect.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers across healthcare and research organizations
  • Work with strategic industry partners
  • Work closely with the product and services teams

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Attending and speaking at industry events
  • BS, MS, PhD, or MD with specialization in related biotechnology field
  • 7+ years of experience in bioinformatics, biostatistics, or statistical genetics
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in performing genomics sequence analysis
  • 3 + years of software development experience in Java or Python
  • 1 or more years of experience demonstrating proficiency in Bash scripting
