Job Summary

A pharmaceutical company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Biological Performance Scholar in the Tifton Area.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Design and timely complete all biological performance studies
  • Assist with product evaluation, efficacy and benefit demonstrations
  • Conduct biological trials in crops not readily available at other locations

Required Skills:

  • Make presentations at scientific meetings
  • Must have a research/thesis-based M.S. degree or PhD in a biological or agricultural science
  • At least 1 year of experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of field research for pesticide efficacy
  • Working knowledge in one pest control discipline
  • Must obtain and maintain pesticide applicator certification for the geographic area of responsibility
  • Must be able to conduct research protocols as assigned
  • Must have basic skills in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel software
