Job Summary
A biotechnology company is filling a position for a Telecommute Biology Staff Scientist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Leading and collaborating with project teams to develop in vitro pharmacology strategies
- Developing pharmacology criteria for the advancement of programs from hit identification to lead optimization
- Directing the selection, validation, and analysis of quantitative biophysical, biochemical, and cellular assay
Position Requirements Include:
- Ph.D. in biochemistry or pharmacology plus 6+ years of relevant industry experience
- Extensive hands-on experience building in vitro pharmacology assays
- Expertise building in vitro pharmacology critical paths to support preclinical developmen
- Demonstrated success in the management of CROs, including evaluation/selection, and more
- Demonstrated track record of clear communication, and working with a multidisciplinary team
