Job Summary
A biotechnology research company has an open position for a Telecommute Biotechnology Medical Writing Operations and Procedures Manager.
Must be able to:
- Manage staffing and performance, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance reviews for direct reports
- Coordinate and manage contractors and outside vendors
- Work with senior management on process improvement/optimization projects from inception to implementation
Position Requirements Include:
- BA/BS degree
- At least 4-6 years of relevant industry experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or vendor medical writing position
- Experience with general Medical Writing procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of drug/biologics development, clinical research, study design, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs
- Technical expertise in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and electronic document management systems
