Job Summary
A non-profit organization for workers is seeking a Telecommute Black Workers Organizing Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing and support affiliate chapters and assisting in the creation of new chapters
- Guiding chapter campaigns and strategic growth
- Supervising chapter directors and organizers
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Wiling to travel up to 50% and work flexible hours
- 8-10 years of community and/or labor organizing experience
- Deep understanding of issues facing Black low-wage workers
- Familiarity with national organizing landscape
- Excellent communication skills
- All other requirements necessary for this position
