Job Summary

My firm is currently seeking a Bookkeeper/Quickbooks EXPERT to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing, examining, and submitting financial records to various entities for multiple clients.

We need a professional that is not too proud to perform what may seem to be boring, mundane tasks, but is also up to the task of handling more challenging ones such as:

Conversing with prospective new clients, being able to determine what data, account access would be needed in order clean up/setup accounting file
Having ability to clean up/setup from client records valid set of books
Having ability to review financial statements, note discrepancies, be able to ascertain needed actions in order to rectify discrepancies

NOTE This opportunity is 100% remote based - all tasks completed remotely. No visits to client offices, no visits to my office etc. For this position, staff and clients are based anywhere high speed internet is available; my firm provides services nationwide.

Responsibilities:
RECONCILE, RECONCILE, RECONCILE. Download, record financial institution transactions, reconcile accordingly
Perform routine bookkeeping tasks, make sure each time a client's file is accessed
o All balance sheet accounts are reconciled
o Uncleared financial institution transactions are addressed
o Unrecognized items that cleared financial institutions are addressed
Determine anomalies in general that need to be addressed
Be able to prepare, understand, explain financial statements for multiple clients
Check the accuracy of accounting transactions
Prepare various analyses to convey issues that need to be addressed by client
Train clients to work with QB desktop and QB online
ACCOUNTABILITY is a MUST
Qualifications:
ABILITY TO ASSESS SITUATION, determine what needs to be done, and do what needs to be done in order to clean/restructure current accounting records
ABILITY TO ASSESS SITUATION and determine what processes need to be put in place in order to keep books clean, reconciled, PRISTINE
Must have two years' prior experience with Quickbooks desktop, Quickbooks Online
Must have extensive experience with Microsoft Excel
Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
Fundamental knowledge of GAAP; this is a MUST
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong organizational skills
Deadline and detail-oriented...these are a MUST
Dedication to put client FIRST
Proficiency in Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, Outlook
