Job Summary
A staffing agency has a current position open for a Telecommute Business Analyst in Honolulu.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing and authoring procedures and workflows for Business Analysis group to standardize and document requirements processes
- Working closely with business stakeholders to observe, elicit and define business requirements to support changes to process, procedures and use of software systems
- Developing system requirements of all levels of complexities of projects, defects, enhancements and regulatory requirements of automated and manual systems
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant field is desirable or equivalent work experience
- 3 – 5 Years of experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C insurance field
- Strong knowledge of BA disciplines and methodologies (agile and waterfall)
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills to evaluate information and identify root causes in order to design and test possible solutions
- Ability to provide technical system guidance to users in the development, Maintenance and implementation of automated and manual systems
- Ability to create detailed business work/task flow diagrams via a variety of software tools
