Job Summary

A news media company has a current position open for a Telecommute Business Casual Associate Producer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Writing research and interview prep docs for the host for an average of 3 to 4 tapings each week
  • Having ownership of segments you’re producing/ live producing during tapings
  • Doing the initial podcast and video edit on Descript and highlighting social clips

Position Requirements Include:

  • At least 2-3 years experience in media and podcast production
  • Strong research and writing ability
  • Understanding of social video platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter)
  • Experience with Descript, familiarity with Pro Tools a plus
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration and organizational skills
