Job Summary
A research organization has an open position for a Telecommute Business Development Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing and expanding new business opportunities within established accounts and prospective new clients
- Developing novel approaches to drive sales growth across the entire business development life cycle
- Overseeing the sales process and coordinate with other business leaders to ensure client satisfaction
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Occasional travel, both domestic and international, is required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- 5+ years' combined experience, knowledge or skill, or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Scientific, sales and/or marketing background with concentration in pharmaceutical/biotech area
- Proven track record of developing mid- and high- level business contacts
