Job Summary

An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Business Development Manager.

Must be able to:

  • Develop pipeline of business opportunities in the public sector State and Local Government and Education IT market
  • Engage and support the sales account teams supporting the State and Local Government and Education IT
  • Develop and implement State and Local Government and Education IT program capture plans

Required Skills:

  • Meet with government personnel as needed and Executives within the Alliances that are being covered
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in State and Local Government and Education IT business development role
  • Networked within the senior level management of State and Local Government and Education IT businesses
  • Understanding of open source software
