Telecommute Business Service Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A business services provider needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Business Service Corporate Counsel.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Managing outside counsel and other legal service providers
• Providing training and guidance on contract-related matters to other internal departments
• Identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with commercial contracts

Qualifications Include:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the bar of at least one state
• Ability to be eligible to achieve authorized in-house counsel status by the Florida Bar
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract law and negotiation
• Demonstrated business acumen
• Outstanding contract negotiation skills
• Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and assess and prioritize work requirements
