Telecommute California Licensed Pharmacist

Job Summary

A managed healthcare and insurance company is in need of a Telecommute California Licensed Pharmacist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Coordinate operational processes with specialty pharmacy vendors
• Monitor new drug approvals, drug launches and pipeline drugs (specialty and biosimilars)
• Support Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee (P&T) meetings

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• California State Pharmacy License and Pharm.D
• Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy
• 3+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy practice
• Ability to maintain ongoing competence level on utilization management policies and training
• Ability to monitor new drug approvals, drug launches and pipeline drugs (specialty and biosimilars)
• Ability to coordinate operational processes with specialty pharmacy vendors
