Job Summary

A non-profit organization is filling a position for a Telecommute Campaign Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Help develop organizational goals and priorities
  • Lead the Campaigns team (you plus 2-3 campaigners) and supervise, mentor and develop its members
  • Oversee the netroots/grassroots mobilization elements of all advocacy campaigns

Qualifications Include:

  • Some travel will be required and additional travel (roughly once every month or two) will be necessary
  • Must have at least four years of relevant campaigning or organizing experience in an electoral or advocacy setting
  • Must have experience developing and leading digital campaigns
  • Must have experience packaging and pitching stories to the press, and/or on-the-record spokesperson experience
  • Must have some experience project-managing a web development or graphic design project
  • Must be comfortable working in ActionKit or an advocacy CRM very similar to it
