A healthcare provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Cancer Registry Certification Data Abstractor in Largo.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Completing case-finding for assigned facilities, including the review of pathology reports
- Reviewing medical records to abstract information according to the required standards
- Completing edit checks and making appropriate changes on a timely basis
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High school degree with 3-5 years of Cancer Data Abstraction or Medical Records experience
- Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) designation required
- Knowledge of disease index and pathology reports
- Computer skills, including data input, Meditech and other required software
