Job Summary
A financial services firm that helps clients develop strategies to reach important long-term financial goals needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Capacity Planning and SRE Team Leader in Saint Louis.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Measuring and monitoring of availability, latency and overall system health
- Managing a group of SRE engineers in an innovative and fast-paced environment
- Performing capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and systems tuning duties
Qualifications Include:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in site reliability and technical operations leadership
- 4+ years of people management and team leadership experience developing strong and motivated teams
- Demonstrated comfort leading discussions with upper management with experience tailoring the level of technical details to suit the audience
- Experience with 24/7 site monitoring and ability to own availability and performance SLAs
- Experience designing and operating highly available, scalable and fault-tolerant systems using container platforms such as Kubernetes
